Update on A Musical Dancer's Life

Wow! How long has it been since I have blogged?! Too long.
Its been so long I haven't shared my wonderful trip to the beautiful place Maine.
I went back in August at the end of summer and its already November, I can't believe it. Anyway the trip was absolutely wonderful and how great it was to see God's beautiful creation!

The photo above shows me at Thunder Hole.

Happy Fall!

Louie is popular being in almost all my pictures. Dance is really busy around this time of year with Nutcracker. My parts are: a snowflake, Queen of Sweets, a flower, and a understudy for the Sugar Plum Fairy! I am very pleased with my parts and ready to perform!

I hope you enjoyed hearing a little bit of what's going on in my busy life.
P.S I have an exciting craft or activity to care with you next time!

little creative dancer

If you haven't checked out my tab "little creative dancer" you should definitely do so. Where I will post my favorite drawings and creative things!

This is probably my favorite drawings.
It is a drawing of my friends and me. I just love how perfectly the drawing goes along with this beautiful and truthful Bible verse!

Beach Times

This week I enjoyed the beach for one beautiful day!
I was thinking, as I walked along the beach, how much God has blessed us with his nature, and that he knows the number of sand on the see shore is awesome!

In the picture above I had my friend french braid my hair, and we thought this was a really cute picture.

This is the front of my swimsuit!
We call this swimsuit modest, but many people have other prospects on modesty and whatever your family has standards for modesty, aways obey them!
Back to my swimsuit, I love this swimsuit. It comes in a xs, which comes in a benefit for me( if you can't tell by pictures I'm very petite). This swimsuit is from:

I forgot to mention that the top is the only thing from Lime Ricki, the bottoms are not!
Hope you enjoyed my short post on my swimsuit make sure to check Lime Ricki out if your looking for a cute but modest swimsuit!

Hello May

As hard as it is to believe, it is May! I love May because it's my Birthday month (p.s. in 25 days), and for the weather( even when it might be freezing one day and hot the next). It is also the month of all my performances; my dance recital is in one week and my piano recital is in 2 weeks! My dance is performed outside on the grass and we call it the Garden Performance. Is it a busy, wonderful time of the year!
Sorry for not posting in a while I have started a instagram account though!
Instagram: @musicaldancerjournal
Go follow so you can see more frequent post and updates of when I have a new blog post.

Also, up in the photo above, I drew a "hello may" since we are already into May, and I thought it was a cute idea. Another exciting thing is my friend, Lydia, and I have started a YouTube channel in order inspire and encourage girls of our age twelve and thirteen. We are presently working on a video,  which should be up soon! The name of our channel is "Girls of Faith".

If you look closely you can see the Bible verse {Jeremiah 29:11} "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future".

So I hoped you enjoyed the short update on my life with hopes your May has started out well.

A Follower of Jesus Christ

Lately I've been thinking about the most important time for a Christian, baptism. I was actually saved at a revival in 2012, but my parents felt that I needed to wait for a later time to be baptized. I really have come to understand more and more of what Jesus has done for me, and am very glad that I am now publicly professing that I am truly a follower of Jesus Christ.
I am part of a small but wonderful church and my pastor came to talk to me about being baptized, so I wanted to share a little bit to you.

My mom esecially helped me with understanding and by giving me Bible verses as references about  baptisim. One of the verses is:

"I have been crucifed with Christ and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body,
I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me."  ~Galatians 2:20

Basically that's all I wanted to share with you, this exciting news!

English Country Dance

Even though it was several weeks ago, I wanted to share a short post about an English Country Dance I attended.
First of all, this dance is for home schoolers, eighth grade to seniors where you wear... I call "Pride and Prejudice" dress. The dancing was so much fun! You are supposed to dance with the guys who asked you, but you also can have a blast with your girl friends. Here is a collage of the dance.

In the left corner I am with some sweet girls Sydney and Laura; up in the right corner I am with Laura, just because it was our first year. Obviously, down at he bottom was everyone at the dance. Yes, I am very short! LOL!

The dress that I am wearing was made by my mom, an amazing seamstress I might say! Laura's dress was made by her mom as well.
Hope you enjoyed reading this simple post on my English Country Dance!
